Dr. Jade Rafferty, President
Dr. Jade became a resident of Linden Hills in 2014 and proud small business owner of Hope Psychology Practice in 2015. Dr. Jade’s clinical work focuses on building resilience in children, adolescents, and their families. She also has specialized training in working with children who have acute and chronic medical conditions. She loves the vibrant Linden Hills community that feels like a little oasis within a big city. Dr. Jade’s favorite activities include eating at all the nearby restaurants, spending time around Lake Harriet, dancing, and having impromptu chats with neighbors. Her greatest joys are her partner, two children, and their dog.
Jenna Schwartzhoff, Treasurer
Jenna has extensive experience in transactional corporate law and a background in finance which shapes her approach as a strategic business partner. Her law practice covers the breadth and depth of a business’ needs from start-up to sale of all entity types. Jenna spends a significant amount of her time counseling entrepreneurs to help them turn their business dreams into reality and navigate the hurdles that arise through day-to-day operations. She recognizes the impact and stress business ownership can have on overall wellness, and she strives to educate small business owners and improve access to quality, affordable legal assistance. Jenna is a strong client advocate and is dedicated to various social justice and environmental stewardship matters through local and national organizations and as a pro bono attorney. Aside from practicing law, she also runs her own small business stemming from a passion for repurposing and recycling objects into new uses, while looking for other creative outlets for her musical and artistic interests.
Carina Dillion, Secretary
Carina Dillon is a certified yoga teacher currently teaching prenatal yoga at Blooma. What Carina loves most about yoga is the tools it gives her to deal with stress outside of the mat by practicing peace in the mind, strength in the body and kindness in the heart. She completed the 200 hour Yoga Training in Costa Rica with Lago CPH and Prenatal Yoga Training with Blooma. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area in California, Carina and her husband moved to Minnesota seven years ago. Today, she resides in the Lynnhurst neighborhood with her husband and two boys.
Lisa Harris, Marketing/Operations
Lisa is an established Linden Hills resident of +17 years where she resides with her husband and two kids. Lisa is an author, speaker, poet, narrative coach and the CEO and founder of Fashion Meets Poetry. Before entrepreneurship, Lisa spent +18 years in executive leadership roles working for and with Fortune 100 companies and nationally recognized brands. In 2016, Lisa published her first book, Unveiled Beauty: Handwritten Stories From a Poetic Heart which inspired an entire women’s empowerment and storytelling platform. This year marks her 4th year producing Unveiled Beauty storytelling events, coaching and speaking. Today, Lisa successfully guides women on their personal growth and empowerment journeys through the power of storytelling. Jamie Fischer, Marketing/Operations
Jamie Fischer is a marketing professional who has managed marketing and events for a wide range of businesses including non-profits, startups and corporations. Jamie received her BFA in Historic Preservation from the Savannah College of Art & Design, but began her professional career doing marketing in Chicago. She was excited to return to her home state after 11 years of being away, and currently resides in South Minneapolis with her two rescue dogs.
Jamie enjoys hiking, running around the lakes, seeing live music and cooking for friends. She is passionate about making a positive impact on the Minneapolis community and is excited for the opportunity to impact Linden Hills via Be Well.
